Trustpilot appoints Joe Hurd to its Board as Non-Executive Director

London, New York, Copenhagen - June 1, 2021 - Trustpilot, a leading online consumer reviews platform announces the appointment of Joe Hurd as an Independent Non-Executive Director, with effect from Tuesday, 1 June 2021. This follows the appointment of Claire Davenport and Rachel Kentleton to the Board earlier this year, as well as Trustpilot’s recent IPO on the London Stock Exchange, as the company embarks on the next stage of its mission to become a universal symbol of trust

Hurd joins the Board from California in the United States and has a demonstrated track record of revenue growth and value creation at global Fortune 500 and private companies, including Facebook, Gannett, AOL, VideoEgg and Friendster. He is also an independent public board director advising on strategic growth, ESG workforce engagement, innovation, governance, compensation, board recruitment and diversity.

The Trustpilot Board was also boosted by the appointments of Kentleton and Davenport in February of this year. Kentleton brings experience in finance, having most recently worked as Group Finance Director for Paypoint PLC - a leading provider of retail technology services to convenience retailers, parcel services and payments technology - following senior leadership roles at easyJet and other financial services companies. Davenport brings to Trustpilot a wealth of e-commerce expertise from various industry leading and disruptive companies, including currently as Chief Executive Officer for Not on the High Street, an online marketplace for gifts and products from small businesses, as well as previous positions as CEO of HelloFresh UK and General Manager at VoucherCodes.

Hurd has previously served as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of Directors, Remuneration and Nomination Committees of GoCo Group plc (now Future plc) and is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of SilverBox Engaged Merger Corp I (NASDAQ: SBEAU). Hurd also is also a member of SilverBox’s Audit and Compensation Committees. There are no further matters to be disclosed in accordance with paragraph 9.6.13R of the UKLA’s Listing Rules.
