Angela Seymour-Jackson joins Trustpilot Board as Non-Executive Director

Appointment adds invaluable executive and non-executive experience with companies going through high growth

Trustpilot, the leading independent review platform free and open to all companies and consumers, today announced it has appointed Angela Seymour-Jackson as an independent Non-Executive Director.

Seymour-Jackson brings to Trustpilot invaluable experience helping both public and private companies positively navigate environments of high growth, digital transformation and rapid change. She is the second independent Non-Executive Director on the Trustpilot board following the appointment of Tim Weller, founder and chairman of Incisive Media, as Chairman in 2013.

Seymour-Jackson has previously been CEO of RAC Motoring Services; Divisional Managing Director of Aegon UK; and has held director-level commercial roles at Aviva and Norwich Union. She is currently Deputy Chair, Remuneration Committee Chair and Senior Independent Director (SID) on the Board at GoCompare.com. She is also a Non-Executive Director at the following companies: Page Group (where she chairs the Remuneration Committee); Rentokil; and Janus Henderson.

Commenting on the appointment Tim Weller, Chairman of the Board at Trustpilot, said:  “We’re extremely fortunate to have someone with Angela’s breadth of experience and stature join Trustpilot. She has an exceptional track record of helping a variety of companies successfully navigate complex environments, deliver winning strategies and create lasting value.”

According to Seymour-Jackson: “In these complex times of rising consumer empowerment and declining public trust, Trustpilot’s role as an independent platform bringing companies and consumers together to collaborate and build trust has never been more important. I’m excited to work with the Board and [Trustpilot CEO] Peter Muhlmann to help Trustpilot continue building a successful public platform, brand and organisation in this crucial, fascinating space.”

Following Trustpilot’s recent series E’ fundraise (announced 5 March 2019), Mohammad Anjarwala, Managing Director at lead investor Sunley House Capital Management, has also joined the Board of Directors. Both appointments are effective immediately.
