Online review portal, Trustpilot, is making a name for itself in the U.S. Two years after opening its New York office, Trustpilot U.S. accounts for 25 percent of the company’s total earnings.
“It’s going well, and we’re starting to bring on some big companies as customers. Last month we were mentioned on the Today Show on NBC, which has 5 million viewers every week. It was a story about murky web shops and how you as a consumer can protect yourself from scams. We were used as a reference point in the story, and even our American investors had to nod their heads in agreement and say that we’re becoming mainstream over there,” says Trustpilot’s CEO, Peter Mühlmann.
