A YouGov study commissioned by online review portal, Trustpilot, details the preferences of French online consumers when it comes to their first contact with retail sites and how they prefer to receive information.
While e-commerce merchants are investing more and more in implementing social media in their customer relations, the French often prefer the more ‘traditional’ model of email or even paper. Whether it was receiving information from e-tailers or contacting them, e-mail topped the list as the preferred way to communicate.
